One Week On A Doubled Dose

Technically the one-week mark was yesterday, but. Whatever.

I had a fever and an upset stomach for most of this week, one of those things that comes and goes. Lots of quality time with my blanket and my guinea pigs. Jack claims that I've gotten him sick, though, so part of that might have been a cold a sibling brought home or that I picked up in Boston. There's really no way to know.

I've harvested an old Twinnings Darjeeling paper box from the cupboard's annual crop of empty and half-empty tea boxes and turned it into a box for my medications. Jack say he likes it. Actually, what he said was "I think that Darjeeling tea boxes are dope, because they're always purple."

I'm lucky that this dosage upgrade wasn't as bad as the "hit by a truck" feeling I had last spring. But there's still room for medication woes in the time to come: my psychiatrist wants to double my second medication to twice a day and possibly add a third, decision pending.

Whoo.
