Lá Bealtaine

I feel like BMO embodies the spirit of the holiday here.

Lá Bealtaine -- Old Irish Beltain, modern pan-Pagan spelling usually Beltane or something similar -- is the celebration that kicks off May. Here in Massachusetts we actually have sunlight out right now, which, given that this is Massachusetts, is quite the feat. I have no thorn trees at hand. so I'm going with the May date instead of the day when the thorn trees begin to blossom,

I'm looking forward to the summer and the warmth.

Light the fires, clean the home, plant some hawthorn saplings, sprinkle water from your hand and enjoy the sunlight.
